Membership Saint Joseph Community Land Trust (SJCLT) is a community-based, democratically controlled, non-profit corporation whose service area is the Lake Tahoe Region in California and Nevada. The operational structure of the corporation is defined in its adopted Bylaws. SJCLT was founded in 2002 by lay Catholic and community leaders in response to rising housing costs and the negative impacts of these costs to the broad social fabric, wellbeing, and sustainability of communities around Lake Tahoe. While Roman Catholic in its philosophy, SJCLT membership is open to persons of all faiths. St.
Joseph Community Land Trust invites you to help create affordable housing in
Tahoe by becoming a member. Members may vote on affairs of the organization,
co-own land, and receive our newsletters and Annual Report, and invitations
to our events. Saint Joseph Community Land Trust is a non-profit, 501(c)(3),
community-based corporation with an open membership and a democratically
elected board of trustees. Send a check for the annual membership dues. Annual dues are $25.00 for individuals and $100.00 for businesses and organizations.
